Applications are now open for our Fall 2025 Grant Round. During this round, we encourage faculty, graduate students and post-docs focused on the study of pre-modern cultures and societies through any academic discipline to submit event proposals for the Spring 2026 semester, and for the 2026-2027 academic year. For larger-scale events, and events to be held in Spring 2026, please also specify in your application if your home Department is willing to assist with the planning and organization of the event. In these cases, please make note of the Department and Administrative Staff that will be helping. Please also note that CGA will not be able to provide administrative planning support for Spring 2026 events, thus it is necessary for such request to have the support of your home department's administrative team. 

Graduate students and post-docs are also encouraged to apply for CGA top up funding for Fall 2025 & Spring 2026. Please note that graduate student applications require the support of a faculty member (graduate students should complete the application form first, leaving plenty of time to forward it on to a faculty supporter to complete their letter of recommendation).
