Center for Global Antiquity

Fall 2026 Funding and Grant Round: Applications Due December 1st

The Center for Global Antiquity announces funding opportunities for graduate students, post-docs, and faculty. Faculty and post-docs are encouraged to apply and to let students know about these available resources.

Grants can cover travel and other research expenses during the spring semester or the summer, or events and conferences to be held in 2027-28, or in a future academic year. For event planning purposes, you are encouraged to apply well ahead of time: at least a year is ideal for large-scale conferences.

Please note that graduate student applications require the support of a faculty member (graduate students should complete the application form first, leaving plenty of time to forward it on to a faculty supporter to complete their letter of recommendation). Additionally, you are required to be affiliated with CGA to apply for funding. If you are interested in affiliating, you may do so by submitting this form.

Individuals are welcome to submit more than one application.

All application materials must be received by 5pm on December 1, 2026.
