Biography

I am an anthropological archaeologist specializing in the Northern Andes, with a focus on the Pasto traditions across southern Colombia and northern Ecuador. My research seeks to integrate Indigenous archaeology, landscape theory, oral history, ethnohistory, and GIS-based spatial modeling to explore the construction of identity and power through the entanglements between multiethnic contexts, non-human agents, and dynamic environments shaped by volcanism, climate variability, and long-term mobility.
